On behalf of Georg Jensen we at Hudson Nordic is looking for a Visual Design Manager to join the Corporate Marketing Department working at the beautiful HQ in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen.
Georg Jensen has a leading market position in the high-end Jewellery and premium Home Product market with distribution to the best retailers in the market. They strive to protect our strong brand position to ensure customers continues to be inspired by Georg Jensen products.

The role
The role is an individual contributor role with responsibility of developing and maintaining Georg Jensen visual merchandising concepts. The development spans campaign and generic VM materials, seasonal as well as generic VM guidelines for all product categories and across Wholesale and Retail. You will have two direct reports, Field VM for Retail Europe and a Junior Visual Merchandising Specialist.

The role

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- In alignment with the global Product, Marketing calendar and Go to Market plan define and develop the GJ VM in-store campaigns for all product categories across Retail and Wholesale
- Design and development of bespoke window display for flagship stores
- Develop and maintain generic VM concepts, display tools and guidelines for all product categories across Wholesale and Retail
- In collaboration with Retail Marketing Manager design and brief creation for in-store events that has global brand impact
- Seasonal kick-off and sales supporting events
- Support with visual concepts and info/training for inhouse Wholesale and Retail events
- Training of central Home WS functions
- Supplier selection and management with Global VM Planner
- Internal stakeholder and expectation management
- Study visual trends and the global competitive landscape to keep the Georg Jensen brand-look current.
Your Profile:
You’re an experienced Visual Merchandiser with a commercial mindset that has a passion for developing, applying and raising VM standards.
- Creative and innovative with knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices
- Must have a strong sense of aesthetics and understanding of business acumen
- A skilled InDesign and Photoshop user
- An excellent project manager
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
The ideal candidate has the following competences:
- A relevant education within design and/or VM
- Experience from a similar position working with Luxury products and/or in creative environments
- Excellent project and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and In-design
- Strong visual presentation- and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally within the organization HQ and with our global teams
- Ambitious and passionate about adding value to the business
- Structured and a responsible approach with a positive, flexible and “can-do” attitude
- Ability to think innovatively and solution-oriented
- Ability to work well under pressure and deliver results in collaboration with other teams
- Fluent in English and Danish with strong communication skills
- English proficiency with strong communication skills
