Global Communication Lead – insulin Icodec, the world’s first once-weekly insulin

The position
Your primary responsibility will be to plan, develop and drive media activities and internal communication campaigns to support a world-class launch of Icodec.
In collaboration with your colleagues in global, regional, and affiliate offices, you will:
Qualifications
We expect you to have a degree in communication, journalism, or another relevant field. You also hold at least 5-8 years of experience within internal and external communication from working in either global, regional, or affiliate teams, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or another highly regulated industry. You have a good understanding of how to build a communication plan that can also be executed strongly in operations.

About the department
The Diabetes Global Commercial Communication team is responsible for developing and executing strategic communication and media activities across the Novo Nordisk diabetes therapy area. The team sets global strategic direction for communication activities to support the brand strategies through a co-creation approach with both global, regional and affiliate stakeholders.
The job is located in Denmark, within Novo Nordisk’s Commercial Strategy & Corporate Affairs Organisation as part of Diabetes Therapy Area Unit. You will report to the Head of Global Commercial Diabetes Communication, but day-to-day work in a newly established unit focusing on Icodec & in-market insulin portfolio. You will benefit from being on a team of professional communicators, but at the same time you will be joining a team of energetic and driven marketing and strategy professionals engaged in leading innovative commercial strategies and launches across the global organisation.

The position

- Lead the development and co-creation of media activities to support the global and local launch of Icodec
- Drive a very strong and simple message platform and story based on clinical phase III results
- Prepare strategic communication for other insulin pipeline assets
- Align strategic communication with key stakeholders across the organisation
Qualifications
We expect you to have a degree in communication, journalism, or another relevant field. - Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to drive complex decision-making in a matrix organisation
- Analytical skills to interpret clinical data and turn it into a compelling story
- Ability to develop strong, global key messaging platforms
- Proven track of leading and driving large global PR agencies
