About the department
The Device Strategy and Marketing team is part of Portfolio Strategy Unit in the global, commercial organisation of Novo Nordisk. The team consists of diverse and passionate individuals who are responsible for providing commercial direction to device development projects, while also ensuring strong launch and lifecycle management of the mature device portfolio. We craft commercial strategies and lead device projects and marketing efforts together with numerous stakeholders across the organization.
The position
As our new Global Commercial Device Lead, you will be responsible for developing and providing commercial guidance to device development projects, including product innovation and development, device assessments, and device brand strategy development.
Your primary role will be to lead commercial guidance to device projects across therapy areas by independently driving and executing strategic device priorities. You will work with many different stakeholders across the organisation in the pursuit of key commercial device objectives across the (medical) device lifecycle.
In this role, you will be able to develop your competencies within (medical) device strategy and marketing through multiple development projects, where you will represent the commercial voice. You will be able to apply your skill set within marketing, commercialisation, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and more.
The position reports to the Head of Device Strategy and Marketing.
Qualification
You have a relevant university degree within e.g. marketing, business administration, economics, public health, or a business master along with 5+ years of relevant experience from working with (medical device) marketing, development projects and/or brand strategy in a company setting.
You are an experienced marketeer and strategic thinker who is known for your ability to execute on commercial projects, and your primary driver is to make a difference in the future – to patients, to the environment and to the business. You have strong organisational skills and pay attention to details.
You are a committed team player, and you have an inclusive and flexible approach. Further, you are an excellent presenter and communicator across all levels in the organisation and you are fluent in written and spoken English.
