We are looking for ambitious candidates to take up the role as (Senior) Category Manager in Marketing and Meetings & Events in Corporate Procurement. The roles will focus on marketing spend like Advertising, Market Research and Digital Media. Also, you will become a business partner to our commercial organization. We are searching for two candidates.
The positions
You will drive procurement excellence with our commercial organization. It is therefore a unique opportunity to join a global world-class procurement function and understand how marketing is performed in Novo Nordisk.
The job entails that you:
You will join a team of 10 skillful and ambitious people who value a good atmosphere and collaboration. You will be empowered and supported with trust and feedback from your team and manager. This is a position, where you will get a lot of influence and responsibility.
Qualifications
To be considered for these positions, we expect you have:
As a person, you are ambitious, want to develop, and are open to giving and receiving feedback. If you do not have experience working with marketing or even indirect spend, we expect you have a strong wish to learn what characterizes that spend.

Corporate Procurement is responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk. We consist of 120 employees based in Denmark, 140 employees in India, and globally 500 people work in procurement. We promote a global mindset, dedication to business partnering and high focus on creating rewarding careers. We work fact-based, are dedicated to collaborative problem solving and take active leadership for initiatives.

- Manage your category by performing sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
- Identify and drive large strategic projects to create value at scale.
- Assess opportunities in global categories, with focus on financial impact, digitalisation and sustainability and think outside the box when doing so.
- Interact with global senior stakeholders and senior leadership for international suppliers.
You will join a team of 10 skillful and ambitious people who value a good atmosphere and collaboration. You will be empowered and supported with trust and feedback from your team and manager. This is a position, where you will get a lot of influence and responsibility.
Qualifications
To be considered for these positions, we expect you have:
- A master's degree in economics, business administration, supply chain management or similar.
- 4+ years of experience in procurement, preferably with Marketing spend.
- Experience from a large and international company, or:
- Solid experience from creative agencies with focus on marketing will also be considered.
- Experience with strategy and/or project management and exposure to senior stakeholders.
- Have an international mindset, work analytically, and communicate clearly in English.
