The position
As our new Portfolio Strategy Associate Director, you will be driving portfolio strategies and decisions such as the indication strategy for future portfolio pipeline products.
Your main responsibilities:

To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have at least 8+years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably with an economic, financial or consultancy background with the following skills:

About the department
In the Portfolio Strategy team our ambition is to maximise portfolio competitiveness across therapy areas by amplifying commercial benefits and value across portfolio. The Portfolio Strategy Team is anchored in the Portfolio Strategy Unit, which is headed up by a Corporate Vice President and consists of five departments: Portfolio Strategy, Portfolio optimisation, Launch Office, Device Strategy & Marketing, and Portfolio Insights & Forecasting.

The position
As our new Portfolio Strategy Associate Director, you will be driving portfolio strategies and decisions such as the indication strategy for future portfolio pipeline products.
Your main responsibilities:
- Drive cross-portfolio dilemmas and opportunities, which is more important than ever before due to an exciting and expanding portfolio
- Ensure relevant portfolio considerations are accounted for in various governance forums and processes
- Engage with regions and key markets to ensure robust input and strong alignment to strategy and ensure effective and timely engagement of senior stakeholders
- Work closely with development projects to ensure key portfolio considerations are incorporated into the future pipeline
Qualifications
To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have at least 8+years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably with an economic, financial or consultancy background with the following skills:
- Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving with the ability to tackle complex problems and provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Solid project and stakeholder management in an international and cross-functional setting, including the ability to influence others
- Ability to deliver results under pressure and within, at times, tight deadlines
- You strive for excellence and have a ‘can-do’ attitude.
