About the department

The department Operational Planning (OP) is anchored in Supply Chain, within Novo Nordisk Product Supply. It consists of 50 dedicated colleagues focusing on short-term supply mitigations and tactical supply network planning, bulk planning between sites, master production scheduling, cPlanning and optimizations, and projects, which is in charge of harmonising and standardising the current and future supply chain planning.

The position

You will be part of the OP, Optimizatisations, and Projects team of 11 colleagues from 4 different nationalities. The team is anchored in the Operational Planning department and is overall responsible for data analysis, business intelligence, process optimization, production site transfers, project management, and LEAN supporting the entire department. Your task will be to support the team in analysing data that will help the team take the right decisions. We will also find a project for you to work on during your internship if relevant.

The internship position is 6 months paid period.

Qualifications

We are looking for an intern, who is passionate about initiating and driving continuous improvements in a supply chain context. You are currently studying for your Master’s degree in Production Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or any other relevant degree.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and comfortable managing your own time and deliverables. Besides this, personality is the key word; positive, independent, energetic, and flexible, with the ability to see solutions instead of problems and take initiative to implement these solutions.

The professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desires to make a true difference. In addition, you are ambitious and like to be challenged. Having an innovative and creative mindset is a benefit and communication will be an important part of the work.
