About the job
As an Associate Manager, you will be heading up our Process Support team, which supports our production of freeze-dried medicinal products to the market, covering the complete aseptic production process from formulation to release, including facility related processes such as environmental monitoring, wash and sterilization etc, as well as a significant number of optimization and upgrade projects in relation to process, equipment and facility.
Your team will be approx. 20 professionals and specialists with a diverse background ranging newly graduated to very experienced with strong backgrounds within their individual fields.
Your tasks will be diverse, ranging from coordination of daily activities and balancing resources, over overseeing and following up on projects and release of products to participation in cross-functional projects as well as active participation in the department management team. Your main task will however always be to be a good, engaged, involving and present leader for your employees with focus balancing short term needs with long term development of both the individual and the team.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you:
It’s important that you can think and act with a broad and strategic perspective, seeing “The Big Picture” without losing sight or interest in important details, as the departments as well as your team has a very broad area of responsibility.
You are familiar and confident with complex production processes, have experience from GMP regulated areas. Experience with production of sterile medicinal products will be a strong plus.
As individual you are positive, corporative, action and solution orientated, and you work systematically, logically and proactive. You are robust and capable of handling a - from time to time - high and complex work-pace without losing oversight and motivation.
As a leader you see and respect the individual and naturally adapt your leadership style to the competences, experience, engagement and need of the individual employee from both a business and personal perspective.
About the department
Biotech & Rare Diseases Aseptic Production Gentofte, Isolator Filing is responsible for aseptic filling & freeze drying of biopharmaceutical medical products within rare blood disorders, diabetes and obesity areas using isolator technology. In addition to production for the market, we also qualify and produces Novo Nordisk’s new protein based rare disease medicines for clinical trials.
The department, which employs approx. 130 colleagues, currently operates 1 isolator line producing freeze dried products for the market and is responsible for 2 projects installing additional isolator filling lines, and is characterized by highly engaged, professional colleagues and an open, respectful and involving atmosphere.
The department is based at two locations close to each other in the Gentofte area.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you:
- Have experience in leading highly qualified professionals
- Have a background as MSc/BSc within pharmacy, chemical/mechanical engineering, chemistry/biology or similar
- Have preferable experience from the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, GMP regulated areas
- Speak English and willing to learn Danish
