The position
In the role of Design Engineer in Sec Pack Product Maintenance you will be responsible for impacting the innovation taking place in the maintenance projects and the chosen design solutions, bringing innovation and better practise to our methods, techniques and approaches.
We own and maintain specifications for Novo Nordisk secondary packaging. You will primarily work with marketed products, but you will also be involved in product design transfer from development to maintenance and internal process optimisation projects. You will respond to inquiries from stakeholders with your design expertise and your role is to safeguard the product functionality. You will be evaluating customer complaints based upon your expertise.
You can look forward to a position where your work has a high impact on the packaging of the device products that reach the patients. The job will give you a great opportunity for working with innovative products on an international level and for having a broad range of contacts including production sites globally, sourcing & supply chain, R&D, Quality Assurance, regulatory affairs, customer service and affiliates.
Qualifications
• You hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent withing engineering or similar.
• You have a 2-3+ years of experience from working in or with a highly regulated industry, e.g. medico or pharmaceuticals, automotive or aerospace. You could have a background within printing/converting
• You are innovative and can add value to our team, you have good interpersonal skills, a collaborative attitude and ability to impact the support to marketed products.
• You have a high degree of flexibility as the tasks are varied, and the priority of projects and tasks may change.
• You are good at keeping an overview of your tasks and you are analytical and systematic and have excellent communication skills.
• You need to have experience with CAD and/or IMPACT or similar, MS Office and find it easy to master IT systems in general
• Preferably have technical flair and are familiar with technical drawings and construction.
• It is an advantage if you have knowledge of secondary packaging raw materials.
• Your language proficiency in both written and spoken English is at a professional level.
About the department
You will join a team of dedicated and highly competent colleagues and be at the crossroad between Devices & Delivery Solutions (R&D), Quality and Production. The department is supporting the entire range of Novo Nordisk secondary packaging products, and the technical product knowledge is anchored here. The department is responsible for the secondary packaging of the marketed products, and we own the specifications and material requirement.
We support numerous projects related to the above areas, as well as within SOP compliance, standardisations, training, technical customer compliant investigations and follow-up on quality activities.
