The Position As a Product Owner in an agile team working with the Study Start Up and Study Conduct domains of the COSMOS Product, you will play a key role in the continued development of one of our high-priority and key digital products, COSMOS.
COSMOS is a backbone product in our clinical development process with more than 2500+ users and 50+ integrations to other systems and solutions. You will be driving a Product Development Team to effectively secure business needs for future effective and GCP-compliant study management. You will evaluate and balance how technology can support and enable the fulfilment of current business needs, while at the same time ensure that our longer-term digital enablement strategy is fulfilled. You will have a huge impact on utilising the full potential of cloud-based technology for clinical study management in a collaboration that spans across other IT systems supporting, for example, clinical development, clinical supplies, and regulatory affairs. Many internal and external stakeholders will rely on your business understanding and your ability to combine business needs with technology enablers and platforms.
Some of your key responsibilities will be to: Develop, define, and update Product Vision, and Product Roadmaps and ensure link to Program Increment Objectives and Team Iteration Goals. Ensure that Product Discovery is done continuously so that we are building the right product for the benefit of the users and the business. Ensure Product Delivery by keeping a prioritized backlog of features that the team can drive to implementation. Drive risk and impact assessment of new features as well as ensure benefit realisation based on benefit hypotheses. Challenge future needs and ways of working within Digital Study and Monitoring Management and Digital Transformation area. In your role, you will work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Subject Matter Experts for COSMOS, and end users to understand the needs of the business, as well as with colleagues in Digital, Data & IT Development. Further, you will also work closely with relevant software vendors.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have: At least 3-5 years of Product Management experience. Preferably within a regulated environment, but not a requirement. Experience from working in a Scaled Agile Framework, but not a requirement. Solid knowledge of Product Development practices and Agile practises is expected. Great stakeholder management competencies. Academic Degree preferred.
