The position
As a Master Data (MD) Consultant, you will be the MD expert responsible for ensuring high quality MD within operational master data tasks and processes in Novo Nordisk on a global scale through close partnership with business stakeholders and MD colleagues. Your contribution will be key for securing our digitalisation agenda within MD – both in terms of securing strong MD processes including processes for developing and maintaining MD Quality Indicators (QI) utilized for monitoring the MD Quality. Key focus in the beginning be on operational tasks with an increasing focus on operational processes in our collaboration with our operational team.
Within this position you will join a team of skilled and experienced MD colleagues, sharing the responsibility of defining the future master data setup, ensuring alignment between MD requirements and new or existing processes and systems. You will be a part of giving input to and implementing the MD strategy reporting to the Head of Master Data. In addition, you will become familiar with strong QA processes and become a part of resolving deviations and change requests in relation to these.

You will join the Supply Chain Data Mgmt. & Analytics team supporting the global supply chain out of Product Supply (PS). The department is responsible for our global master data processes, ensuring master data quality and governance. We aim to stay at the forefront of technology innovation and are working with cutting edge technology to automate the master data maintenance processes for all items, ensuring high quality supply chain data from our cloud-based data lake, improving transparency in our supply chain with data as well as enabling advanced analytics solutions at scale to enhance decision making.

Qualifications
You have solid experience within Master Data Management (MDM) in a supply chain function and are very confident in defining and changing processes around MD maintenance in alignment with appropriate stakeholders. Also, you should be:
- Experienced in the understanding of MD governance ie. MD processes drawn and written, data ownership, filling rule sets, data models, QIs etc
- Extensive SAP knowledge is required and experience with global systems roll-out projects is preferable
- Experience and knowledge on material master data operational tasks (maintainer tasks) but also on processes, user guides. Pharmaceutical production is an advantage but not a requirement
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is required
