The position
We offer a role as Chromatography Expert (SME) for a well-established team working with digital transformation across the Novo Nordisk organisation. The team develops and implements novel software solutions to automate the interpretation and approval of analytical results.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Setting professional direction for the team related to chromatography and laboratory systems to ensure the project objectives
• Together with the Product Owner and the agile team developing a new software solution to fully automate the interpretation and approval of chromatography analysis
• Be the voice of the customers, the end-user, ensuring a best-in-class software solution fulfilling the business needs
• Be part of manage and prioritise the product backlog
• Represent the team and secure alignment with key stakeholders to ensure the team can work dedicated towards reaching key priorities
• Outline the expected impact and deliver on it
• Take both business and technical aspects into perspective
• Seek best practice and inspiration from similar units across Novo Nordisk when deciding on solutions for our end-users

Many internal stakeholders will rely on your business understanding and ability to translate business needs into digital and technology solutions.

The agile team consist of people from functions across the Novo Nordisk organisation and you will report to the Director of Analytical Technology & Innovation - OPF QC

Qualifications and skills
To succeed in this role, you:

• Have a relevant university degree in life science or engineering
• Solid knowledge (+5 years) within chromatography of peptides/proteins
• In-depth experience with laboratory systems (Empower, LIMS)
• Knowledge about Scrum or other frameworks of agile methodologies
• Have a flair for IT and interest in exploring how IT solutions best can support business needs
• Are fluent in English both oral and written

You have experience in collaborating positively with different stakeholders on various organisational levels. You are recognised for excellent quality mindset, and it will be an advantage if you have experience in driving simplicity using e.g., lean tools. Knowledge and experience working with IT and GxP are a must, but not a must, the right approach and mindset are a bigger plus.

Your personal qualities define you as robust, a self-starter, and a great collaborator always having a positive attitude. You keep an overview, despite changing demands or tight deadlines. You have strong communication skills including the ability to communicate complex subjects in an easy and understandable way. You are not afraid of being challenged by peers and stakeholders and your personal robustness enable you to integrate different views in the decision-making process and stand firm whenever needed.

Above all, you are proactive, have a strong drive and a desire to create real impact for the business.

About the Team
As Chromatography Expert you will be part of the SCRUM team, which currently consists of a Product Owner, Scrum Master, an Implementation Lead, four Data Scientists, a Tech lead, three UX/UI developers, five Cloud developers and two Subject Matter Experts.

You will be located together with the team in Gentofte just north of Copenhagen, but as the product will be developed globally as a solution to all quality control laboratories you will have to interact with stakeholders across the Novo Nordisk organisation.

You will be a part of a team which consist of 18 dedicated colleagues, a team who takes care of each other and support each other. As an employee in the team, you will be able to take up a lot of responsibility and gain support to develop. You can expect to grow both on a personal and professional level. You will see me and experience me as leader, with a positive and agile mindset, to embrace change and adjustment to improve processes and quality for the future demands.
