Are you ready for a job developing Analytical methods for enzymes, chromatographic resins or small molecules then we are looking for a new colleague in our growing R&D Manufacturing Development at Novo Nordisk Pharmatech A/S.
Do you have a high level of energy to drive your daily tasks? Planning your tasks in accordance with multiple project timelines is easy for you and you have strong communication skills. You are result-oriented and have an eye for simplification and optimization. You work independently but it also motivates you to cooperate with colleagues and stakeholders across functions and departments.
The position
As our new Analytical Development Scientist your job will have a varity of different focuses. In the job you, in corporation with our laboratory technician will develop analytical methods that can be transferred to our laboratories. We work with many different analytical technologies incl. UPLC, LC-MS and spectroscopic techniques for enzyme kinetics. Furthermore, we are looking into technologies like Raman, NIR and other spectroscopic methods.
Other responsibilities include stability studies, stress-testing, trending and development of impurity profiles.
Stakeholder collaboration both internally in our department and with QC and QA is a big part of the job, so you need to have an open and curious mind. You will be working in an environment driven by curiosity and scientific understanding.

About the department
The Manufacturing Development department in Novo Nordisk Pharmatech consists of 21 dedicated employees split it two teams. You will become Analytical Development Scientist in the Development team consisting of 13 chemists, specialists and Project Managers that develop and supply novel materials for manufacturing of therapeutic proteins in the biopharmaceutical industry. We work in close collaboration with our customers to develop optimal purification solutions for new and existing molecules used for the treatment of many different conditions. The atmosphere is relaxed, creative and characterised by our growth mindset.

Qualifications
- We expect you hold an M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or another relevant field within pharmaceutical sciences. Specific knowledge pharmaceutical analysis development and/or process development will be an advantage, but we not a requirement.
- You must have fluency in written and spoken English and willingness to learn Danish if you are non-Danish.
