The position

Novo Nordisk is scaling digitalisation to be able to conduct more clinical trials and reach more patients with our new innovative medicine all over the world.

You’ll be part of the Leadership Team in a newly established Digital Transformation area and be responsible for advising the Leadership Team and the Corporate Vice President of the area in how to continue to raise the bar for impactful and value-creating digitalisation including the importance of change management to maximise the adoption of digital products.

In this role, you will:

  • be responsible for building, developing, and follow up on a digital strategy
  • articulate value creation and how digitalisation help achieve our business objectives
  • engage with colleagues across the company and across the Globe to drive cross functional collaboration around digitalisation and end to end thinking.

Most importantly, you’ll be part of an area with highly talented and passionate people who are developing state of the art digital products and teams working in the scaled agile set-up delivering large, digital infrastructure systems.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you have:

  • Master’s degree or higher equivalent within relevant field of expertise
  • Digital functional expertise
  • Pharma experience – or experience from a similar regulated industry
  • Proven track-record of business partnering skills at an executive level
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to drive decisions based on insights and data

Preferably, you come with 6+ years of experience from a similar position in pharmaceutical industry or from a top tier consultancy.

As a person, you are an ambitious team-player with a can-do attitude, you have the ability to create followership and buy-in across organisational boundaries and at all levels of the organisation by communicating complex solutions and ideas in a compelling way.

About the area

You will join Digital Transformation, a newly established CVP area with more than 80 fantastic colleagues responsible for digital transformation of Clinical Drug Development.

Novo Nordisk drives clinical trials in more than 55 countries worldwide and collaborate with 6,000+ sites at hospitals and clinics. Digitalisation is key in succeeding with this. Our purpose is to accelerate digitalisation to achieve our ambitious business targets in the global clinical operations process and provide new innovative medicines for patients living with severe chronic diseases.

We work closely with our stakeholders headquartered in Denmark and Bangalore (India) and affiliates worldwide.
