We are accelerating our research activities within oral delivery of peptide and protein drugs and are looking for a new team member to support our mission of driving innovation in Oral Formulation Research.
The position
As a Laboratory Technician within Oral Digitalization and Characterization, your main objective will be to support early pipeline projects with deliverables related to oral formulations. You will contribute to the analysis and characterization of oral solid dosage forms independently and in collaboration with Scientists and Technicians in a non-GxP setting. You will also take the responsibility of maintaining and upgrading our instruments and laboratories, as well as ordering consumables.
More specifically, you will participate in, and lead laboratory experiments related to e.g. drug content and drug purity analysis using HPLC/UPLC systems as well as drug extraction, drug stability, drug dissolution and drug disintegration studies. You may also take part in other analysis or characterization activities within our department in collaboration with colleagues from the oral formulation departments. Finally, you report your results electronically and plan the next steps together with Scientists in the department.

Qualifications
You qualify for this position if you have:
- an educated as Laboratory Technician, Bioanalytical Laboratory Technician or similar
- good laboratory skills, understand the basics of drug discovery/development, and have preferably worked previously in the pharmaceutical industry
- good written and spoken English skills
- hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC, preferably with Waters systems and Empower software
- expertise working with oral solid dosage forms, and experience with dissolution methods is an advantage
- basic data visualization and analysis software (e.g. Excel or GraphPad Prism) skills
