The position
Novo Nordisk experience an increased demand for our products and is therefore expanding capacity by building new facilities and we therefore need a Project Manager. It will be your primary job to handle various tasks in IT infrastructure projects. You will be part of an existing project team, that handles a large portfolio of both small and large IT projects.
The tasks will consist of coordination between various stakeholders, to ensure that tasks are performed on time. As an example, you will act as a service broker between network engineers electricians, building management and others involved in the project. You are also responsible for status reporting and finances/budget for your projects.
It will be your responsibility to ensure that the projects proceed as planned, that deadlines are met and that you communicate with many different professional groups. For the same reason, it is therefore essential that you have a proactive and solution-oriented approach to your work, so that you are always at the forefront of any unforeseen challenges.
Your profile
We imagine that the right candidate has strong Project Management skills and has experience from working in global organizations. We value relevant work experience over your educational background, but you need to have at least a bachelor’s degree, and preferable a Project Manager education as well - preferably in the IT-field (Infrastructure/Cloud Setup/Cloud Computing/Workplace/ IT Strategy/Service Management)
It is an advantage if you are familiar with working agile.
In addition, it is considered an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have an interest in IT Infrastructure, IT operation processes, understanding of networks, knowledge of Asset Management and Life Cycle Management of network devices.
You are energetic and do not shy away from making a decision - but you also love working with both our internal customers and colleagues and prefer to make decisions together.
Your qualifications:
• Good knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and requirements
• GxP knowledge will be an advantage and knowledge from the Pharma Industry
• Good knowledge on infrastructure services
• Flexible mindset – timelines and request will move around
• Good overview – there will be several building projects in various phases and therefore a good overview of what is needed from Infrastructure is needed.
• Good communication with stakeholders who holds limited in-depth IT knowledge
• Cross-cultural understanding, hence the international environment
• Preferably, experience in working within an Agile/SAFe framework
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work from either Bagsværd or Kalundborg, with the flexibility to work from home some of the time.
Area & Department
The position is based in Global IT Operations - an area with 350+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our infrastructure operations and digital workplace services.
The department consists of 100+ highly qualified Information Technology Engineers, Technicians and IT-Architects who are responsible for IT infrastructure in Novo Nordisk Production sites, Product Supply. We have a close collaboration with Novo Nordisk in Bangalore, India, and external vendors.
We have a strong focus on collaboration, we are curious, and we are embracing new ideas on how to deliver projects successfully. Our department is working according to agile principles, KanBan and according to the SAFE framework with agile teams running sprints/iterations.
