The position
Novo Nordisk is pioneering this field within diabetes with the leading oral GLP-1 projects. New oral projects within diabetes and adjacent therapeutic areas are on the way earlier in the pipeline and by joining the area you have the opportunity through your personal contributions to improve the life for people all over the world. As Project Manager in OPF Project Office you will play a key role in making oral therapy available to the patients by securing progress in oral development projects. You will be a central member of the CMC core project team along with other CMC technical project managers, and will interact with a wide variety of stakeholders, e.g., drug product development, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) process development, quality assurance and regulatory affairs.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role you must have a degree within Life Sciences such as Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering or similar. Further experience include:
As a person, we expect you to have excellent collaboration skills, be structured and reliable and to have an ability to stay calm and make the right decisions in a dynamic work environment. Also, you are a team player and have a feel for communicating essential information to the right stakeholders at the right time.
About the department
The department OPF Project Office is part of the area Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Oral Protein Formulation in the R&D organisation. Our department consists of 12 skilled project managers who are responsible for project management in relation to the oral drug product portfolio. We have a strong focus on scientific skills with a social and engaging atmosphere.

The position

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Setting the direction for the project and aligning the project needs with line of business
- The close collaboration with the line management of the departments to ensure the most optimal planning of resources and obtaining project goals
- Breakdown of project key deliverables to department activities
- Clearly and timely communicate project requirements to team and department members.
- Prepare and coordinate regulatory documentation according to international guidelines.
- Provide timely feedback and guidance to project members
Qualifications
To succeed in this role you must have a degree within Life Sciences such as Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering or similar. Further experience include:
- Proven track record as project manager or people manager covering analytical activities from early phase to late phase clinical development.
- Scientific experience within analytical development
- Experience with transfer of analytical methods, and Contract Manufacture Organisation (CMO) corporation is a great advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in collaborating with stakeholders at all levels
