The Department
You will be part of the unit Product Supply (PS) Process Digitalisation. Product Supply is the largest organisational unit in Novo Nordisk with 20,000+ employees globally across five continents, responsible for the entire supply chain of all Novo Nordisk products.
PS Process Digitalisation is a central unit in Novo Nordisk, that is driving the automation and digitalisation portfolio end-to-end in Product Supply from idea assessments to operation & maintenance of our live solutions. You will be a part of the Intelligent Automation Development team, responsible for developing software solutions based on new ideas and use cases coming from line of business.
We use modern technology in a board extend, are always curious and keep up on the technology forefront. We develop global products by delivering solutions within Robotic Process Automation (UiPath), Apps (MS Power Apps) and Machine Learning. We start by understanding our user needs, challenging assumptions, and redefining problems to create innovative and sustainable solutions. We push the boundaries of what is possible within a highly regulated GxP context.
We are a social, high performing, and international unit driven by exploring, digitalising, and automating complex business challenges with cutting edge technologies.
The position
We are seeking a new colleague with a good technical understanding and a strong curiosity towards new technologies, who can translate business needs into tailored digital solutions.
You will be part of an ambitious Agile team, delivering digital solutions for complex processes to our colleagues across the Product Supply value chain. Together with the Agile team, your primary responsibility is development, testing, documentation, and quality assurance of both critical (GxP) and non-critical digital solutions. You will also take a part in improving design and coding standards as well as assessment of new use cases, knowledge sharing across global teams and exploring new possibilities with technologies landscape.
You will report to Associate Manager of Intelligent Automation Development. The position is based in Bagsværd, Denmark.

We expect that you have:
- At least a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or another related field
- Experience with application development, preferably within MS Power Apps
- Knowledge about UX design and methodologies, such as design thinking
- Experience with effort estimations and good documentation practice
- Experience in working with multi-functional teams while demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in oral and written English
Preferably you also have:
- 2+ years of working experience in a software developer position
- Experience working within Agile frameworks (e.g. SAFe) and using MS Azure DevOps
- Experience with one or more programming languages (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, C++, C#, Python etc.)
