Then you might be our Software Tester we are looking for in Intelligent Automation department.

The Department
You will be part of the unit Product Supply (PS) Process Digitalisation. Product Supply is the largest organisational unit in Novo Nordisk with 20,000+ employees globally across five continents, responsible for the entire supply chain of all Novo Nordisk products. PS Process Digitalisation is a central unit in Novo Nordisk, that is driving the automation and digitalisation portfolio end-to-end in Product Supply from idea assessments to operation & maintenance of our live solutions. You will be a part of the Intelligent Automation team, responsible for developing software solutions based on new ideas and use cases coming from line of business. We use modern technology in a board extend, are always curious and keep up on the technology forefront.

We develop global products by delivering Robotic Process Automation (UiPath), Apps (MS PowerApps) and Machine Learning solutions. We start by understanding our user needs, challenging their assumptions and redefining their problems to create innovative and sustainable solutions. We push the boundaries of what is possible within a highly regulated GxP context. We are a social, high performing, and international unit driven by exploring, digitalising, and automating complex business challenges with cutting edge technology.

The Position

We are seeking a new colleague with a solid technical understanding and interest in software testing. You will be part of our Agile team, delivering tested and validated digital solutions for complex processes to our colleagues across the Product Supply value chain. Together with the Agile team, your primary responsibility is to be a key player in ensuring a high level of quality assurance for our digital solutions within the Intelligent Automation in Process Digitalisation.

As a Software Tester, you will be both defining and executing on test strategy and test scenarios following risk-based approach to ensure high quality of our solutions with a complete user requirements’ coverage. You will be collaborating closely with solution architects, software developers, validation leads, ITQAs, scrum masters and product owners to align on planning, requirement management, test management, defect management and release management.

In other words, you will have a hands-on role, bridging business requirements, technical implementation, and built-in quality to deliver best in class digital solutions.
You will also enable the Agile team to work seamlessly by helping to foresee potential barriers and risks in advance while ensuring compliance throughout the entire process.

You will report to Associate Manager of Intelligent Automation Development. The position is based in Bagsværd, Denmark.

Qualifications

We expect that you have:

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or another related field
  • Experience in developing and/or testing software solutions within an agile setup
  • Demonstrated experience with test design, test execution, defect management and reporting including how to ensure traceability and coverage all times
  • Demonstrated experience with effort estimations and good documentation practice
  • Experience in working with multi-functional teams while demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in oral and written English

Preferably you also have:

  • 2+ years of working experience in a digitalisation position or similar
  • Demonstrated experience or support with code review, unit testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing
  • Experience working within Agile frameworks (e.g. SAFe) and using MS Azure DevOps
