The position
We are establishing a brand new Center Of Excellence (CoE) within the area of "Distributed Control Systems" (DCS) in production at Novo Nordisk, and we are looking for a Validation Lead to join our team. As the Validation Lead in our DCS CoE you will ensure that all validation documentation is in place e.g.: User Requirement Specification (URS) / Functional Specification (FS) / Change Specification (CS), you will assist with the development of system requirements and specifications to ensure requirements are testable and med, and Help development teams develop and maintain test plans, test scripts and user acceptance tests and manage the execution of test plans. You will act as a Validation Lead for all validation projects. Validation plans, protocols, and reports.

About the department
The purpose of the new department,” Distributed Control System, Centre Of Excellence” (DCS CoE ), is to strengthen the Novo Nordisk DCS domain by gathering knowledge, designing standards and providing the best possible agile and organisational fit for teams and specialists who support factory operations and run projects in the area of DCS.
As part of the DCS CoE, you are part of Manufacturing IT – Production, working with colleagues across other OT (e.g. SCADA) and IT (MES) domains to drive operation and project execution excellence across our global production footprint. Overall, you will join the rapidly evolving and growing Manufacturing IT area, where over 800 employees are working across the globe to revolutionise IT and OT across our production and supply chain domain in Novo Nordisk.

The position

- Compliance gap analysis
- Reviewing and updating of Standard Operating Procedures – setting direction for the validation concept for DCS
- Ensuring vendor compliance
- Training of new employees or consultants in both validation concepts as well as tools

Qualification

- Proven experience in IT validation.
- Experience in working with Control Systems, IT automation and IT compliance.
- Master's degree in a computer science/pharmaceutical science discipline or other relevant backgrounds.
- At least 5 years of experience with project work, specification, design, development, and implementation of IT solutions within the Pharma Industry, combined with general business understanding
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Danish is a strong asset
