The position holder must be an excellent communicator and presenter with a global mindset, self-awareness and maturity and ability for Innovative problem solving.
Moreover, he/she will need to meet the following requirements to be successful in this role:

We will prefer candidates with demonstrated experience in people leadership as well as project management and that have strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

DD&IT R&ED (DDIT-RED) is a part of the global digital, data & IT organisation in Novo Nordisk. DDIT-RED employs more than 95 highly skilled IT professionals located in Måløv, Bangalore, Seattle, Beijing and Oxford. DDIT-RED is driving multiple major IT systems and projects as well as the scientific IT infrastructure in Research & Early Development. Digitalisation is high on the Novo Nordisk agenda driving a dynamic working environment with high levels of activity and multiple experiments with new ways of working.

What’s in it for you?
As our next joiner, theHead of IT Architecture and Sandbox department will be a leader setting direction for our IT architects, developing our IT Sandbox, and developing
people in the department in alignment with the Novo Nordisk Way.
Key responsibilities of this:
- Delivering IT Architecture to R&ED digital initiatives, ensuring IT architecture expertise is delivered to R&ED as needed from early requests and into DevOps of programmes.
- Funnelling ideas into projects/proposals, establishing and maintaining structures to capture early-stage ideas and needs from R&ED and mature into projects and/or project proposals.
- Executing on fast paced needs in R&ED, establishing and running a team capable to support the need for experimentation and fast learning in R&ED.
- Being an active member of Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) R&ED leadership team, contributing to setting strategic direction for Digitalisation and IT in R&ED.
Need to have, nice to have
The position holder must be an excellent communicator and presenter with a global mindset, self-awareness and maturity and ability for Innovative problem solving.
Moreover, he/she will need to meet the following requirements to be successful in this role:
- Master’s degree within relevant area
- 10+ years of combined experience with IT technology and pharmaceutical research, preferably in architecting roles
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Good organisational understanding
- Demonstrated leadership competencies with ability to coaching of project managers and specialists
- Good command of written/spoken English
