The position
As our new Wash & Sterilisation (W&S) Engineering Responsible, you will be a key player in defining the future global standard for Autoclaves, Washers and CIP/SIP units. You will be at the core of ensuring the best possible design, delivering a solution we can be proud of in 20 years.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Driving the development of technical standards for W&S equipment i.e., autoclaves, washing machines and CIP/SIP cabins.
  • Collaborative design development with suppliers going into oversight to ensure the solution is build according to the design.
  • Development of qualification approach that will enable a streamlined implementation of the standard solution.

In this position, you will work in collaboration with a wide network of stakeholders on a local and global level! This will include the W&S Work Package Owner (WPO), W&S Specialists, our Central Manufacturing Development team, and Subject Matter Experts.

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to travel to our global sites which includes sites based in Denmark, France, US and China. 20% travel is expected for the position.

Qualifications

  • You hold an academic degree within Engineering or Natural Sciences or similar.

  • 5+ years’ experience within with W&S or clean utility equipment and processes.
  • Project execution experience within production/ aseptic production, GMP in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or similar industry.

  • Knowledge/ an interest in exploring and driving new technologies.
  • Stakeholder management and working cross functionally and globally.

As a person, you have a focus on quality, have a problem-solving approach and the drive to create new solutions and challenge the status quo. With a visionary and innovative outlook, you can look to the future to help promote process optimisation and digitalisation alongside colleagues.

Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills to build relations cross functionally and globally. For this position, you are required to be fluent in spoken and written English. As you will be working globally with the Danish sites, France and China, language skills within these areas would be advantageous.

About the department
Technology Standards is a department in the newly created area of Aseptic Production (AP) Expansions. You will be joining AP Expansions, which stands for expansions of AP. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees.

AP Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. AP Expansions has a clearly global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world.
