The position As Lean Partner, you play a pivotal part in transforming our business and improving performance on a large scale. Your role also involves acting as subject matter expert for leaders and employees, guiding and coaching them in following Novo Nordisk’s approach to continuous improvements and LEAN mindset. Your main responsibilities include: Driving LEAN strategic transformations to deliver step-change improvements while fostering people development and nurturing a positive culture Conducting assessments in CSD on LEAN maturity, mapping current performance levels against Novo Nordisk's LEAN principles Ensuring a strong collaborating with stakeholders across the SVP area as well across Product Supply to drive the LEAN agenda Coach management teams across the SVP area to enhance shopfloor performance Delivering comprehensive trainings on Novo Nordisk's LEAN methods and tools, covering standardized work, problem solving, continuous improvement, and flow Providing guidance and serving as a subject matter expert for leaders in LEAN leadership, while instilling a LEAN mindset The primary work location is in Bagsværd; however, the department will be relocating to Taastrup at the end of the year. Occasional tasks at various sites within Denmark is anticipated, along with some international travel. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we believe you : Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, project management, manufacturing, business, engineering, or a related field Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, working as a LEAN Project Manager, or similar (working with Supply Chain Planning, Production optimization or as an Improvement Manager) Demonstrate familiarity with supply chain or sourcing operations, or express a keen interest in learning about them Display proficiency in both written and spoken English It would be considered as a plus if you have previously worked in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, medical devices, aviation, automotive, oil & gas). As a person, you exhibit outstanding communication and leadership skills, allowing you to build productive working relationships and effectively influence others when needed, all while thriving in complex and fast-paced environments. You possess the capacity to understand business requirements and successfully align them with the overall strategy. Additionally, your excellent analytical skills empower you to identify and measure the efficiency of the implemented changes effectively. About the department You will join the senior vice president (SVP) area across CSD, which is responsible for all product portfolios, external contributors and on behalf of Product Supply, Quality & IT (PSQIT). This includes strategic sourcing and sourcing operations, manufacturing and development of devices and needles, management of all contract manufacturers, and local manufacturing. As part of a growing team of 5 SVP LEAN specialists, centrally located, you will work together to reinforce LEAN knowledge and mindset across the entire CSD area.
