Would you like to become a part of the team responsible for a global fleet of production equipment making plastic components for our newest injection devices? If so, this might be the right opportunity for you to join our Global Automation Operations Department as a Fleet Owner, apply now! The Position As a Fleet Owner, you will be responsible for a certain type of automatic production equipment at Novo Nordisk and contract manufacturing organizations around the world, e.g. in Denmark, US, China, and Europe. Your will ensure the fleet is ready for production, e.g. by avoiding it comes out of validated state, ensure spare part availability, etc. You increase performance across sites by knowledge sharing learnings with local operations. As we are expanding capacity your aim is to ramp-up new equipment to perform at expected quality as fast as possible by sharing best practices from other sites. Your main tasks will be to:
• coordinate weekly with local operations and perform regular coordination with equipment suppliers
• facilitate problem solving to escalated problems from local operations
• manage internal and external stakeholders; manage spare parts as well
• prioritize life cycle management projects and improvement projects
• make trends analysis on performance data to find improvement areas The colleagues you will work closely with are in internal production, contract manufacturing organizations, QA, supply chain management, and our own team consisting of the other fleet owners and automation technicians. In this position travelling is to be expected approximately 10-20% of the time. Qualifications To be considered for this position, you should have:
• a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, production or similar
• minimum 3 years of experience within a pharmaceutical company with stakeholder management and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
• great technical problem solving skills
• knowledge within automatic production lines and vision systems is a plus
• professional proficiency in verbal and written English On a personal level, you have a proactive approach, and are good at stakeholder management. About the department Global Automation Operations is part of Device Manufacturing and Sourcing (DMS) located in Hillerød. We are responsible for a global fleet of production equipment making plastic components for our newest injection devices. Our responsibilities include industrial robots handling components, decoration lines engraving/printing on components to ensure patients get the right dose and vision systems checking decoration to keep patients safe. We create value by enabling the global production network to manufacture high quality components to meet the demands from logistics. The team consist of highly skilled fleet owners and automation technicians, each with their area of expertise and several years of experience in production and quality areas. We are currently around 10 colleagues and are expanding.
