Do you want to use your strong financial understanding as trusted Senior Finance Business? Are you good at stakeholder management? And are you ready to take lead in delivering world class financial support across our business units? Then you might be our new Senior Finance Business Partner in OFP Production DK, a manufacturing site with both marketed and clinical production? The Position As a Finance Business Partner, you will be serving ‘your own’ senior stakeholders with budgeting, controlling, various financial analyses and strategic sparring. Furthermore, you will drive essential financial processes and contribute to generating important financial/strategic insights to the management. • Ensure insights and transparency into the cost base: To enable line of business to manage spend efficiently it is essential to have strong insights into how the money is spent. This requires strong analytical skills and preferably knowledge about digital tools for visualization (business intelligence).
• Internal and external processes required to facilitate accurate production accounting (raw material deviations, production variances and inventory adjustments)
• Drive budget process (AB, RE and LE). You will facilitate the budget process to ensure resources are allocated to business priorities and all areas are pushing for stretched optimization ambitions. This requires curiosity about the business to both understand needs for additional funding and where there is a need for additional actions to succeed with the budget. This also requires good stakeholder management, communication skills and an ability to run a complex process with many sub-deliverables.
• Monthly budget follow-up incl. compliance with accounting rules. This includes monthly meetings with production departments, preparation of monthly management review (MMR) for site, and timely communication to central finance.
• Drive the cost optimization agenda: Support management by facilitating discussions and workshops on how to optimize the cost base, bring analysis and external perspective on opportunities and help set the financial direction for the site. You can also be expected to drive various optimization initiatives, e.g., scrap reduction. To succeed in this, you need to be able to interact with senior management and bring a consultancy mind-set on how to facilitate change. Qualifications To succeed in this position, you must thrive in a high pace environment, where things are anything but a steady state.
The right candidate should have the following skills:
• You have a solid financial background e.g., HD, MSc. Finance/Economics, cand.merc., cand.oecon. or similar.
• You have strong financial understanding and 3-5+ years of experience within a financial role (advantage if experience as controller/finance partner already)
• You are great at stakeholder management and have excellent communication skills.
• You are an experienced user of Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in SAP and business intelligence solutions, such as Tableau or PowerBI will be an advantage.
• Enjoy challenging status quo in a positive and curious manner.
• Plan ahead, are proactive, and foresee future needs from our internal customers in line of business.
• Balance your focus between a need for structure and details and the need for having an overview About the Department You will be part Oral Finished Products DK, Måløv (OFP DK), which is an oral solid dosage production facility with approx. 1000 employees producing diabetes products for patients around the world – both for market but also for clinical trials. You will work in ‘Facilities, Projects and controlling’ team, a newly established team, OFP Production & Business Support. The team is currently in a buildup phase, but will manage Facilities, Facility and warehouse projects and finance controlling for all OFP DK.
